By April 20, 2020 April 28th, 2020 No Comments

Below we offer you a free educational series where we dive into hot topics in the medical cannabis world today.

We will be hosting a new episode live on every first Friday of the month. In case you missed our past videos, we are pleased to share them with you below. If you have a specific question you’d like to ask for the next Live stream, please feel free to email us at marketing@apolloresearch.ca.

If you have a more personal or specific question, we encourage you to book a free appointment with one of our health care professionals as well at 877-560-9195

Episode 1: Medical Cannabis Now

In episode one, we go over options that people have today including cannabis oils, soft gels, flowers, vaporizers, and topicals. Great questions came up about cannabis oil shelf life, tolerance, infused beverages, respiratory issues, and dosing methods. We love connecting with new & existing patients and hosting these series gives us an opportunity to not only educate but keep our patient base and followers up to date with what’s happening in the world of medical cannabis, while helping answer questions that you have along your patient journey.

Please feel free to send us any questions you have for our next episode to marketing@apolloresearch.ca or don’t hesitate to give our support team a call any day of the week.

As the world has switched over to predominantly virtual platforms in early 2020, we are delighted to be able to offer new or follow up appointments & educations from the comfort of your own home. Apollo is also connecting with patients during a Live Q&A session, where we can continue to engage with Canadians on topics that affect their everyday lives. In our first-ever live stream on Facebook, Arash Taghvai, MD, discusses the current state of medical cannabis & how to obtain a medical cannabis prescription,  alongside live questions from our patients & viewers.

Medical Cannabis Now, a live stream series started by Apollo, looks to helps educate our patients with medically sound knowledge and frequently asked questions. While we strive to best answer your questions, we do encourage any personal medical advice to be taken from a medical professional as this is a very personalized medicine, tailored to you.

Episode 2: CBD & Anxiety

In our second episode of Apollo’s virtual education live-stream, we dive into a discussion on CBD & Anxiety. Arash Taghvai, MD hosts a 30-minute live session answering great questions from the community and our patients around topics such as cannabis absorption in the body, conditions cannabis may help, and CBD use for both sleep and anxiety. As Canada is currently in a state of self-isolation due to Covid-19, we discuss how we are working to ensure our patients are still receiving their full spectrum of care, including education and medication delivery to your door. Arash was able to answer questions live concerning costs and subsidies, IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), when to dose, and how different strains can work for either sleep or anxiety.

Running this series gives us an opportunity to not only educate but really connect with our patients and followers to help answer those questions that may not have thought to ask at their initial appointment. Please feel free to send us any questions you have for our next episode at marketing@apolloresearch.ca or don’t hesitate to give our support team a call any day of the week.

While we strive to best answer your questions and because this is very personalized medicine, we do encourage any personal medical advice to be taken from your own doctor or one of ours in a 1-on-1 appointment before making changes to your own medicine.
