The laws created by the government regulating Medical Cannabis are controlled by Bill C-45, also known as The Cannabis Act. Prior to October 17th 2018, medical cannabis was regulated under the ACMPR also called, Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations, which has since been absorbed/replaced by The Cannabis Act.
